The device manager is not showing the USB device. I have tried to load a generic one with no luck. Obviously anything connected via USB does not work. Is this a problem with the BIOS set up or what? The printer has worked previously on this computer,
I was just wondering if anyone has any idea why any hardware I have plugged into my USB ports are not detected until I reset my PC.
I have a broadband connection which uses a USB port and that is o.k all the time, but anything else is not detected until I reboot.
I am using XP Home with service pack 1 installed.
