there any way i can make it so that i can have both things online at the
same time without buying another router or using another slot on the router.

I am setting up a router to use with my cable modem and I
understand there might be a difference in the type of ethernet cable to use
between the router/computers and the router/cable modem for example. (e.i.
pathch cables vs. ??)
Is this true, and if so, what types of cable are you supposed to use in
those locations?
Is it "technically"
possible to network (i.e. direct connect via ethernet crossover cable
without a hub) a new Dell 4550 (2.53 GHz) with WINXP with a Dell Optiplex
5133 (133 MHz) with WIN 95?
I have previously successfully connect 2 Dell Optiplex computers both
operating with WIN95, one of which was the Optiplex computer mentioned
above. I seemed to have lost the secret sauce.
I have 3 machines, 2 XP and 1
W2K Pro. Before rebuilding the W2K machine following a virus attach all
networked just fine on my wireless LAN. Now I can't get the W2K machine to
join the workgroup. Unfortunately the printer is attached to the W2K
machine. I've tried to check local policies and TCP/IP settings but I can't
see a problem. I've noticed that Kerberos is in use on some of the policies,
but don't know if that's a problem. Can you help me get the W2K machine to
join the workgroup?
