Question
Recently my PS/2 keyboard
started to fail.It started to not display characters that I entered, etc. so
I swapped it with another keyboard, with the same result.I removed the
keyboard in the device manager and also physically removed the keyboard and
then rebooted.Even though there was no keyboard plugged into either port,on
restart the machine still said it found new hardware and that it was
installing the correct drivers.I am now using a USB keyboard and everything
is fine so far,but i would like to correct the problem with the PS/2
keyboard if possible.Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.Thank you.
