Freeware

Freeware programs are either distributed for the love of humanity, for fame, or as stripped down versions of programs that do cost money. Remarkably, some of the very best programs for using the Internet are completely free. Most freeware, even though it's not commercially sold, is copyrighted by the author. Always check the license agreement if you consider using the application for anything than your personal use.

IMPORTANT NOTICE TO ALL USERS

Please note that due to server restrictions that have now been placed upon myself I had to make a slight change in all download categories.

The programs no longer download direct from this site but you are now taken directly to the download page of the home page for the actual program and can download it from there. I do apologise but this is the only way I could keep this web site active for everyone.

Connection Keeper

Connection Keeper prevents your Internet connection from appearing idle or inactive. It does this using almost no bandwidth or system resources. If a connection is lost, Connection Keeper can automatically dial back in.

Stay Live 2000

Does your Internet Service Provider drop your dial-up connection after what seems like only nanoseconds of account inactivity?
Stay Live 2000 keeps your Internet Dial-Up Connection active and on-line by periodically sending a small TCP/IP packet to one of the many Atomic Clocks maintained by the United States Government.

Sending these small packets prevents your ISP from dropping your connection due to inactivity. You may also optionally select to have your computer`s internal real-time clock updated each time one of these packets is sent and a response is returned from an NIST Time Server. You can use this utility in one of two ways. Either run your web browser or other Internet software and then launch Stay Live to keep your connection active, or launch Stay Live first to establish an Internet connection and then run your web browser or other software.

ADSLKeepAlive

ADSLKeepAlive is designed to keep an ADSL dialup connection constantly connected ensuring that the connection is properly resolving DNS and downloading data correctly. In case the DNS resolution or the connection fails, it will be re-established or the PC can optionally be rebooted so that the connection is maintained.

Internet Answering Machine

Internet Answering Machine eliminates busy signals for callers trying to reach someone who is online. Instead of getting a busy signal, the caller leaves a voice message which the online user hears instantly over the speakers on their computer. You can then chose to disconnect and return the call or not.
