This is the page for all those checked out downloads that may interest you and ones that we have used ourselves. On a monthly basis we will update this page and add new downloads . We try to ensure they are all freeware products and we will be changing them on a regular basis.

Freeware programs are either distributed for the love of humanity, for fame, or as stripped down versions of programs that do cost money. Remarkably, some of the very best programs for using the Internet are completely free. Most freeware, even though it's not commercially sold, is copyrighted by the author. Always check the license agreement if you consider using the application for anything than your personal use.

Symantec W32.Sasser Removal Tool is a removal tool to clean the infections of the following variants of the W32.Sasser worm: W32.Sasser.Worm, W32.Sasser.B.Worm, W32.Sasser.C.Worm and W32.Sasser.D.Worm. Just run the small program and follow instructions.

ClamAV For Windows is a Windows command line version of the GPL licensed anti-virus solution. It includes a set of command line tools, including a high speed scanning daemon, that can be used to scan computers for viruses, or used by mail servers or proxy servers (via command line) to clean incoming messages. The program offers free definition updates and comes with detailed (PDF) documentation. Suited for advanced users only.

Microsoft Mydoom Removal Tool

Mydoom (A, B) and Doomjuice (A, B) Worm Removal Tool. This tool will help to remove the Mydoom.A, Mydoom.B, Doomjuice.A (aka `MyDoom.C`), and Doomjuice.B worms from infected systems. The tool automatically checks for infection and removes any of the targeted worms that are found. avast! Virus Cleaner is a free tool that will help you remove selected virus & worm infections from your computer and also performs necessary fixes to your system registry, Startup Folder etc. if needed.

Virus Cleaner is currently able to identify and remove the following worm families: Badtrans, BugBear including B variant, Nimda, Opas (aka Opasoft, Opaserv), Sircam, Sobig including B, C and D variants, Yaha (aka Lentin).

Deletes the registry values that the worm added.This tool does not protect from infection, but is intended to clean a system that has been previously infected with W32.Blaster.Worm.

avast! Home Edition is a complete anti-virus package, that is is free for registered home non-commercial users.
