I've
finally entered ythe year 2000. I've ordered a 1.1g Athlon
Cheezy all in one board.
The board is either( don't ask) an:
AMPTRON K7- 825LU v.3.1( PcChips) or
AMPTRON K7- 825LM
The ram & shipping is going to cost more than the assembled box.
1. What ram to get? SDRAM or DDR ?
2. How do I tell that this 1.1 is not an already OC'd 900 ?
3. I am a little fuzzy on some of the stuff I've read about OC' ing the
Athlon. I've read where's it's locked and you have to override the lock by
fusing jumpers. I've also read about OC'ing without having to jump through
hoops. Any help/opinions/clues are appreciated.
